Viel Spaß in dieser Frühling!

Ok, so I am really sorry about taking forever! This past little while has been very crazy. Dagmar started her new therapy which puts me and the kids alone all day. It's weird being almost like a mom! It's very hard. But unlike motherhood, I still get to sleep at night and I get paid! Yay! So it's been interesting to be with the girls like this. It's been good. It was almost as though this week was a test run, and I think they trust me to take care of them. They had problems last year of not being fed and things like that when their mom was not around....sad.

So I finally made it to the long awaited Institute and it was better than I could have expected! The singles are so nice and they all want to speak English with me because they don't get a lot of opportunity to use it, and I welcome it most of the time! It has just been a lot of fun to be with the singles here. They are awesome. So we had institute on Wednesday, then on Friday we had a going away party for two people who are going on missions (one to the Provo Mission!) and one girl was having a birthday. We had tons of great food and there was dancing and karaoke and I even joined in on the karaoke. Who would've thought! It was a blast! Then we also had a thing today so already I am making friends and having a wonderful time with the singles.

Ok, picture time, as always!:

So the other night we had a pajama party. Dirk and Dagmar were at the temple so the girls and I stayed up and ate junk food and watched Schweinchen Wilbur und seine Freunden, or more commonly known as Charlotte's Web! Sehr spaß!

So this is the Audi, that's for you Aaron. It's pimped out too. Pretty awesome!

So 3 times a year we have what's called Jahrmarkt. Which means Year market. But basically it's just a big festival where the kids can ride rides and eat candy like any normal carnival and the adults can get plastered, like any normal German event! So these are all of us at Jahrmarkt. It was a lot of fun!

So these are all on the ferris wheele, which moves at a speed that is at least 5 times faster than any american one I have ever been on. It was a beautiful view.
This is the local Lutheran Church. Everyone in Germany is Lutheran.

The big building and everything to the left is the shopping district here in Heide. That's where I buy anything I need, or a book.

We're pretty awesome!

Ok, so that's all for now folks. Stay tuned in and hopefully I will be better at posting! We will have Easter this weekend which is much bigger here than in America so hopefully we will do something fun, and then in 2 weeks we hit Center Park for our vacation! I'm stoked!

I do I do and apparently so do you!! Now, we can keep up with each other in all our endeavors. Did I tell you I'm going to Uganda in two weeks? How much longer are you going to be in Germany? I miss you!

This is my blog for my time in Germany. I thought this would be a good way for people to see what's going on while I'm there.
